Ricardo is an illustrator and designer whose editorial work has appeared in the New Yorker, the New York Times, and Chronicle Books, conjuring a noir Los Angeles that lives somewhere between memory and myth. Drawing on the romance of art deco heiresses, David Lynch atmospherics, and hazy seaside glamour, his pencil portraits and still lifes build a cast of characters who linger in the streets and drink martinis until sunrise.
